Helping your court obtain and achieve results with grant funding!

Summit Learning Objectives

State and federal grant programs have been in transition for the last few years.  Both administrative practices and procedures as well as funding levels have experienced major changes.  This conference will focus on the following learning objectives:

1)  Demonstrate best practices for obtaining and administering grants in courts from both the grantee and grantor perspective.

2)  Provide a forum for networking and learning about grant opportunities available for court programs.

3)  Illustrate model programs and transitional efforts to move from grant funding to more long-term sustainable budgets.

4)  Educate program participants on ways to write effective grants that are focused on realistic performance measures that demonstrate results.

5)  Instruct participants on the federal administrative changes such as grants.gov and the Department of Justice's Grants Management System requirements for application and administration of grants.

This program is being held in Washington DC in order to help facilitate ease of access for participants to conduct post-conference follow-up meetings between court grantees and federal grantor agency program staff and/or Members of Congress.
